Course/Workshop Title: |
Cloud Computing |
Course/Workshop Duration: |
40 Hours |
Course Overview/Objectives: |
This course provides necessary background to build a cloud infrastructure based on a cloud computing reference model. The reference model includes five fundamental layers and three cross-layer functions for building a cloud infrastructure. For each layer and function, this course covers the comprising technologies, components, processes, and mechanisms. This course follows an open approach to describe concepts and technologies. |
Expected Learning Outcomes/Competencies: |
At the end of this course participants will be able -
- To describe cloud computing concepts, deployment models, and service models
- To recognize the reference model and the key considerations to build a cloud infrastructure
- To setup and configure the key components and processes required to build the physical, virtual, control, orchestration, and service layers of a cloud infrastructure
- To analyze and manage the business continuity, security, and service management functions of a cloud infrastructure
- To deploy and integrate software application over cloud infrastructure
- To develop improved communication and collaborative skills
