This course provides an overview of the basic and effective rules for motivation. Participants will receive skills training needed to learn and develop the rules for motivating themselves and other people to become highly effective in their professional and personal lives. |

Course/Workshop Importance: |
The course is very important for all kinds of people and at all levels in an organization such as leaders, directors, managers, engineers, team members and others as it gives them the basic skills training needed to learn and develop the rules for motivating themselves and other people to become highly effective in their professional and personal lives. |
Lecture Strategy: |
Lecture materials will be presented using Microsoft PowerPoint. When possible a cooperative, participant-centered learning and discussion approach will be utilized to enable a high level of participant involvement. |
Course Content: |
Introduction of motivation worldwide, motivation skills and rules, Theory X and Theory Y and other theories of motivation style, sources of motivation, Hierarchy of people's personal needs, equity theories, power of listening, the seven ways to de-motivate a work team, the hundred ways to say well done, motivational rules, management by objectives, rules for gauging motivation probability, disposition and motivation, and self motivation. |
