Course/Workshop Title: Be Effective Supervisor/Manager
Course/Workshop Description This workshop is intended to give enlightening guide and general tips that will serve as a road map for helping Supervisors/Managers pep-up their managing teams & get them do what they are supposed to smoothly and professionally. This workshop features the following:
  1. Round table discussions: Is the title given or gained?
  2. People in my Organization (behaviors)
  3. How to prepare for and write a departmental action plan
  4. Are you a decision maker?
  5. How to enchant your boss
Course/Workshop Duration: 3 days, 2 hours a day
Course/Workshop Objectives:
  1. Help participants distinguish between a given or gained title.
  2. Familiarize participants with the life style work cycle and general employees’ work behaviors.
  3. Equip participants with advanced techniques on how to find out about their employees’ motivation factors and how to get them do what they are supposed to do.
  4. Help participants be aware of how to enchant their upper management.
Course/Workshop Learning Outcomes/Competencies:
  1. Given an overview on what it takes to become a supervisor/manager.
  2. Knowledgeable on how to understand and deal with certain employees’ work behaviors.
  3. Introduced and given an opportunity to write and discuss their departmental SMART goals.
  4. Knowledgeable with techniques on how to enchant their senior management.
