Course/Workshop Description The workshop consists of four modules (4 weeks, 4 hours each) that cover a broad spectrum of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) issues in addition to a final project. The four modules are:

  1. What is CSR? What issues does it incorporate? What are the costs and benefits? (1 week or 4 hours)
  2. An introduction to ISO 26000 (1 week or 4 hours)
  3. Best Practices and Application (1 week or 4 hours
  4. Evaluation (Group presentations and debrief) (1 week or 4 hours)

Course/Workshop Objectives: Through the workshop, participants will:
  • Describe CSR and increase awareness of how it may help your businesses
  • Show the benefits of CSR, using examples especially from within the GCC region
  • Identify barriers to its wider adoption and what support may be needed to overcome these
  • Provide comprehensive learning in all aspects of CSR program management and learning tools to manage your CSR goals
