Working as an assistant professor in the College of Science and Humanities at PMU, KSA. Prior to that, Dr Rajjab worked as a full-time lecturer at
the School of Education at Durham University (UK) and the Institute of Effective Education of
the University of York (UK).
He received BA in English Language from Ba’ath University, MA in Sociolinguistics from the
University of Leeds, UK and PhD in Educational Management Studies from the University of
York, UK.
Dr Rajjab has an extensive teaching experience in teaching, research, curriculum development,
supervision, mentoring and assessment – for undergraduates and postgraduates.
His research interests include dialogic teaching, intercultural communication, teacher
education, academic development, teaching English to EAL learners, and classroom learning in
developing countries. He published extensively on intercultural communication and
multilingualism. He taught language pedagogical and content courses in addition to semantics,
applied linguistics at University of York, Glasgow, and Manchester Metropolitan University.
Dr Rajab hopes to contribute to preparing an outstanding generation of aspiring students who
shape the future of Saudi Arabia.
